Hello neighbors,

This is not my usual post but I wanted to extend some invitations to you all on the west side. As you know we are entering the time of year where the city council is focussed on one of our most important roles, passing the cIty budget.

Many of you will be familiar with the significant financial hit to revenue that occured when our state legislature passed SB-1. I will be presenting important facts around this in the weeks to come. However, I Urge you all to be aware of the public budget workshops and to plan to attend or follow updates online. The upcoming meeting dates and times are as follows.

BUDGET WORKSHOPS

MON, SEPT 15, 2025 - 9am

TUES, SEPT 16, 9 AM

REPORTOFBUDGETESTIMATES

TUES,SEPT23,2025- 9AM

COUNCIL CHAMBERS SECOND FLOOR, CITY HALL ONE CIVIC SQUARE

All these meetings will be live streamed as well on the city's website.

Also, I would like to extend an invitation to meet myself and Mayor Finkam informally tomorrow at a neighborhood pop-up on the west side.

Events Around Carmel

Invitation to speak to me again at another wonderful cultural event in Carmel
